Postpartum Services

You deserve continued support after birth and labor. The postpartum period is a time to move slowly, rest, heal, and cultivate connection.

It is a time to listen to your intuition and inner guidance. This time is full of expansion and love as you get to know the new human in your life. It is so important that new families receive love, support, and nurturing care.

It truly takes a village. You weren’t meant to do this work alone.

I am here to support you while you navigate the postpartum period, whether independently, with your partner(s), or with your community.

  • Emotional and Physical Support: The postpartum period comes with ups and downs that are natural and expected, but can be difficult to navigate. I will support you and your partner(s) in managing and regulating emotions, identifying coping skills for self-care, processing your birth story, and healing physically from giving birth.

Newborn Care Support: As a postpartum doula, I will support you in basic newborn care and education, such as feeding, diapers, bathing, creating a routine, and supporting a new baby in your life. We will work together to provide you with any outside referrals necessary.

Errands and Housework: I provide light housework (e.g. laundry, cleaning the kitchen, vacuuming, etc.) and run errands for you in order to help support you as you spend your time caring for yourself and your newborn. Support in managing your household is incredibly important during this time to maintain a peaceful and clean environment.

As a queer doula, I am so excited to support other queer and/or non-traditional families.

Navigating medical systems can be especially challenging when you do not fit into a heterosexual or nuclear family mold. Together, we will advocate for trauma-informed and inclusive care for you and your family.
